Board Meeting

January 15, 2008

 

Call to Order:  The meeting convened at 9:05 a.m. with the following present:

 

                   Tom Egan, Chair

Cal Dickinson, Member

                    Frank Fennerty, Jr., Member

Janet Whitney, Chief Industrial Appeals Judge

                    Bob Liston, Chief, Administrative Services

                   Dave Threedy, Executive Secretary

Jane Beaulieu, Human Resources Manager

Jay Raish, Confidential Secretary

 

Approval of Minutes:  The January 2, 2008 Board Meeting minutes were approved.

 

Appeals Received:  The Appeals Received numbers were reviewed.

 

Employee Survey:  The Human Resources Manager reported that the managers have received their reports.  The Executive Binder will contain all reports for the agency.

 

Soup Kitchen:  It was reported that the Black History Committee will hold a Soup Kitchen on January 30.

 

GMAP:  We reviewed the agenda for the GMAP meeting on January 22.

 

Use of State Cell Phones:  The Chief, Administrative Services reported that OFM distributed a memo regarding the use of state cell phones.  We are trying to get more information about the memo.

 

Weight Watchers at Work:  The Chief, Administrative Services reported that the Wellness Committee will survey employees to see if anyone is interested in starting a Weight Watchers at Work meeting.  Member Fennerty requested information about the fee schedule.  This matter is TICKED for the February 5, 2008 Board Meeting.

 

Public Disclosure:  The Chief, Administrative Services reported that OFM wants records officers to provide information on agencies' non-routine Public Disclosure requests.

 


Adjournment:  There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 9:34 a.m.
