Board Meeting

February 19, 2008

 

Call to Order:  The meeting convened at 9:03 a.m. with the following present:

 

                   Tom Egan, Chair

Cal Dickinson, Member

                    Frank Fennerty, Jr., Member

Janet Whitney, Chief Industrial Appeals Judge

                    Bob Liston, Chief, Administrative Services

                   Dave Threedy, Executive Secretary

Jane Beaulieu, Human Resources Manager

Jay Raish, Confidential Secretary

 

Approval of Minutes:  The February 5, 2008 Board Meeting minutes were approved.

 

Appeals Received:  The Appeals Received numbers were reviewed.

 

Seattle Office:  The Chief, Administrative Services reported that we are now working on the final termination language for the Seattle lease.

 

PC Deployment:  The Chief, Administrative Services reported that all Olympia PCs should be deployed by the end of the week.  We will begin deploying to other offices next week.

 

Telecommute Agreement:  The Chief Industrial Appeals Judge reported that we have drafted a telecommute agreement that applies to all employees.  She will distribute to the Board Members this week.  This matter is TICKED for the March 4 Board Meeting.

 

PSRW:  The Confidential Secretary reported that she and Pam Crowley will organize the Olympia PSRW celebration to be held May 7.

 

HB 3139:  We discussed House Bill 3139.

 

Facility Planning:  Chairperson Egan discussed a memo received from Victor Moore regarding 6-year facility planning.  The Chief, Administrative Services will report at the March 4 Board Meeting.

 

Personnel:  The Chief Industrial Appeals Judge reported that (name redacted) will be on medical leave for two months.  Mimi Morrison has agreed to fill in for her.

 


Black History Month:  The Human Resources Manager reported that the Black History lunch will be held on February 28.

 

Adjournment:  There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 9:24 a.m.
